Split a PDF — Extract Pages or Break Into Files
Break a large PDF into smaller ones by page range, or extract a single chapter as a standalone file. Every split runs in your browser — the original never leaves your device.
Open the editorHow it works
- Open wt-pdf.com and drop in the PDF.
- Click the Split tool in the toolbar.
- Enter page ranges (e.g.,
1-5, 6-12, 13-end) — each becomes a separate file. - Click Split & Download. A ZIP with each part is produced.
Range syntax
1-5— pages 1 through 53— just page 37-end— page 7 to the last page1, 5, 9-12— pages 1, 5, and 9 through 12 (as one file)
Extract a single page
Enter the page number as a single range (e.g., 3) and you'll get a one-page PDF.
FAQ
Can I extract pages without splitting?
Yes — use the thumbnail sidebar to delete pages you don't want and download the rest.
Does splitting preserve bookmarks and links?
Page-local bookmarks inside a split range are preserved; cross-range references are dropped.
Is there a page-count limit?
No. The browser handles hundreds of pages comfortably.
