Is text still searchable after rotation?

Yes. Rotation changes a page attribute, not the content stream. Text remains searchable and selectable.

FAQ

Can I rotate by 45° or other arbitrary angles?

No — PDF page rotation is limited to 90° increments. For arbitrary angles, you'd need to re-render the page, which is a lossy operation.

Will this break links or bookmarks?

No.

Is there a limit on page count?

No.
