Crop a PDF — Trim Margins and Resize

Remove unwanted margins from a scanned PDF, narrow page dimensions for e-readers, or cut a specific region out of every page. WT-PDF crops by setting the PDF's CropBox — no rasterization, no quality loss.

Open the editor

How it works

  1. Open wt-pdf.com and drop in the PDF.
  2. Click the Crop tool in the toolbar.
  3. Drag to select the region to keep, or enter margin values.
  4. Apply to current page or all pages, then download.

Crop vs. delete

Cropping changes what's visible; the underlying content is still in the file but outside the crop box. To fully remove content, use Redact.

E-reader sizing

Cropping is the fastest way to make a letter-sized PDF readable on a 6" e-reader — just trim to the text column.

FAQ

Is cropping lossless?

Yes. Only the visible rectangle changes — pixel data is untouched.

Can I un-crop?

Use Cmd+Z to undo within the session. Once you've downloaded, re-cropping resets the visible box but doesn't restore the original if you cropped before.

Can I crop different pages differently?

Yes — apply the crop to the current page only.
